The concept involves tuning all open strings to the same note in one or more octaves as desired and applying a keyboard-like pattern to the fretboard so that pressing down with even a single finger on a string or plurality of strings at each fret produces the associated note, in higher or lower octaves or blended together depending on how the strings are strummed, and by simply placing or sliding a finger up and down the fretboard one can easily play any note desired and quickly be able to play any melody or song.
These modifications and methods give experienced players additional new ways of expression, and
for beginners there are no more excuses to only play air guitar when you can easily play real guitar!
